THE LOVE ZONE

Over the last 5 years Westlands has become a party district where people from different culture and backgrounds meet and have fun. This is one of the few urban areas in Nairobi where, at night, people gather and walk from place to place in safety. Urban Mirror define this as the LOVE ZONE, a spontaneous Nairobi public space.
An art event to define existing urban areas.
Urban Mirror crew organized a one night event to celebrate this area the 12th december 2009. Events and art performances have taken place in the streets and in the night clubs located in the area. A love Matatu equipped with internal and external monitors moved all the night long around the LOVE ZONE screening visual and audio art.
