An art event to define existing urban areas

Over the last 5 years Westlands has become a party district where people from different culture and backgrounds meet and have fun. This is one of the few urban areas in Nairobi where, at night, people gather and walk from place to place in safety. We define this as the LOVE ZONE, a spontaneous Nairobi public space.

Urban Mirror organized an event to celebrate this area.
Art performances took place in the streets and in the night clubs located in the area. A love Matatu equipped with internal and external monitors moved all the night long around the LOVE ZONE screening visual and audio art.
